Gamebookers Launch in PolandLondon- 7th February 2006 Internet betting company
www.gamebookers.com today announced the launch of a Polish-language version of Gamebookers.com. This follows on from recent translations into both Russian and Italian, and marks the tenth language in which Gamebookers.com users can bet on their favourite sporting events.
The company expects that this expansion into yet another Eastern European country will drive even more traffic to the site from this booming area, and will look to promote the brand in Poland with strategically targeted and locally relevant marketing and advertising deals. The company tends to see traffic double within 60 days in regions where it launches a native-language version, which if replicated in Poland would see it become one of the top 10 jurisdictions for the company.
Gamebookers have not been afraid to spend cash promoting their product throughout Europe, and recently caused controversy in Greece when they bought a player for League 1 basketball team; Aris.
Gamebookers Chairman John O Malia said, "We already have a strong user base in Poland who have been asking for a Polish version. This translation shows our commitment to our current customers, and is expected to also bring in a flood of new users from Poland. Gamebookers is the European leader in local-market customization, and we will use our local knowledge in each country across Europe to aggressively build market share throughout Europe this year. We will be adding nearly one language per month in the lead-up to the World Cup 2006, which will ensure that we continue to grow quickly in Europe and expand our market share."
